We hope that this website is able to give you an impression of our villages and wineries but most of all the passion we have for our wines that we would like to share with you.
The
villages of Ste. Valière and Pouzols are situated in the Minervois. St. Valiere
located on the plateau overlooking the Cesse and Aude valley surrounded
by the magnificent vineyards. The village dates back to 83BC and was founded by
Gaius Valerius Flaccus for its strategic location as well as wonderful soils to
grow wines that were desperately needed by the Romans.
The Domaine Guibbert is situated in the village of Pouzols and with its 4 ha, 41 a and 25 ca ofvineyards located on the terraces with fertile soil enjoying the wonderful warm and dry climate of the Midi of France. It is here that Claude Guibbert and his wife Angeline grow their grapes for their wines the way their ancestors have done for years. This dedication to ancient values and techniques resulted in obtaining two titles for the Baies de Sainte Lucie in 2006: Master d'or au concours général européen 2006 Trophée Aude gourmande 2006
These ancient values and tradition you will also find in the other wines produced by this dedicated winefarmers family. Angeline Guibbert is also reputed for her wine related products such as her grape gelly, a must for the real 'gourmands' that enjoy the good life.
